Who is Atelier09?
We are Tim and Elise. The siblings behind Atelier09, whom you can’t make happier than working on different interior designs.
Our shared passion for interior and styling meant the start of Atelier09. A dream job, because what is better than making people happy with great designs on a daily base?! Whether it is for an apartment, a big mansion or an office, we’ll do it with the greatest pleasure.
The start of Atelier09
Since we were young we always had a passion for styling and interior. In 2012, during a holiday in Malaysia, the penny dropped: this is the field where we wanted to work in. Directly after we came back home, we started a study interior design. Soon after we finished this, Atelier09 was born.
Since then we gained lots of experience in the design industry and use this together with our enthusiasm and creativity to make the best out of every space.
About Elise
Elise has a background in real estate. Therefore, she knows exactly which changes can create an added value to your home.
Not only when you are planning to sell it, but even more when you want to create a space where you feel delighted, peaceful and happy.
“During my time as a student, I was always busy with furnishing. I challenged myself to make my room look best without spending lots of money. I was a regular visitor of flea markets to find nice stuff. Today I still enjoy going there once in a while to find that one, great item. Styling a room with accessories is the one thing that I like the most. As a mum of two young kids I know as no other that a home should be nice, but practical and livable as well.”
About Tim
Tim has been working in the paint industry for many years. He was working with the latest trends in the market on a daily basis.
Therefore, he knows the popular colors and the developments as no other. Working in this industry also gave him lots of knowledge about the best materials to use. Making your design something that will last.
“I love an interior with exciting elements and some color in it. Working on nice combinations and presenting these to our customers makes me happy. I get my inspiration from many things, of which travelling might be my number one source. Discovering new cultures and countries is something that I love to do. But my own town Amsterdam gives me lots of inspiration as well. After a bike trip on the canals I start working with a fresh dose of ideas.”
As a duo, we combine our creativity and design a space that fits your needs, where you feel at home. Whichever space it is, we are happy to come by for interior advice or a custom design.
